Admissions

We admit throughout the year where we have room. Here is how it works.

Applying for a place is deliberately simple. Come and see the school, fill in a form, bring the documents below, and we will tell you where things stand - usually within a week.

The Process

Five steps to a place

Get in touch

Use the form at the bottom of this page, telephone the office, or simply call in. Tell us your child's age and the class you have in mind.

Visit the school

Come during a school day rather than on an open day. See the classrooms in use, meet the teachers, and ask whatever you want to ask.

Complete the application

A short form, completed at the office or taken home. Bring the documents listed below with it.

Placement assessment

A short, friendly assessment so we place your child in the right class. It is not a competitive examination - it tells us where to start.

Offer and enrolment

We confirm the place and the start date, settle the fees, and give you the uniform and book lists.

Paperwork

What to bring with you

Bring the originals and one copy of each. If something is missing, come anyway and tell us - we can usually work around it.

  • Birth certificate or Weiganda card
  • Two recent passport photographs
  • The last report card from the previous school
  • Transfer or attestation letter, where the child is moving school
  • Immunisation or health record
  • A parent or guardian's photo identification
Fees

What it costs

Fees depend on the class and are reviewed each academic year. The office will give you the current fee schedule in writing - we do not quote figures we might change.

Fee schedule

Given in writing at enrolment, per class and per term.

How to pay

Mobile money or at the school office. Parents can see and pay balances in the parent portal.

When

At the start of each term. Talk to us early if a term is going to be difficult.

Questions

Questions families ask

Can my child join in the middle of a term?

Yes, where we have room in the class. Joining at the start of a term is easier for the child, but we will not turn a family away for the sake of a date.

How large are the classes?

We keep classes to a size where a teacher can mark every child's work properly. The office will tell you the current number in the class you are asking about.

Is the placement assessment difficult?

No. It is short, and it exists so that we place your child where they will do well. Nobody is refused a place on the strength of it alone.

Do you provide transport and meals?

Ask the office what is running this term. Both vary from year to year and we would rather tell you what is true today than what was true last year.

How will I know how my child is doing?

You get a report card each term, and you can see your child's scores, attendance and fee balance in the parent portal at any time.

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.
