Our Story

Nurturing Excellence, Character, and Lifelong Learning

CMS is a place where children are known by name. We keep our classes small enough that no child can drift quietly through a term, and we tell families what we see - plainly, and early enough to matter.

Our teaching is careful rather than fashionable. Children read every day, write every day, and are expected to explain their thinking rather than only produce an answer. What they cannot yet do is treated as work to be done, not as a verdict.

Beyond lessons, we take character seriously. Punctuality, courtesy and honest effort are taught here as deliberately as any subject, because they are what a good report card is actually built on.

Teaching that is checked

Every class is marked, recorded and reviewed. A child who is falling behind is found in weeks, not at the end of term.

Honest reports

We tell families the truth about their child, kindly and early. A report card that flatters helps nobody.

A safe school

Children are supervised, gates are managed, and every adult on this compound is known to us.

You should never have to guess how your child is doing. Ask us, and you will get an answer.

A word to the families considering us

Choosing a school is one of the larger decisions a family makes, and it is rarely made on a website. So come and see us. Walk the compound during a school day, look into the classrooms, and ask the questions you actually want answered. We would rather you chose us having seen the ordinary Tuesday than the open day.
